My name is Kaitlin Ganong, I recently got married this past summer and moved to the Rothesay area. I have been excited to start teaching, and I am so happy to begin teaching at Alison Dawn Voice & Music!

Music has always been an integral part of my life. It has shaped the way I think, feel, and live and I hope to be able to share this joy that music can bring to your kids this Fall.

 

My family is originally from Cape Breton, so the sound of Natalie McMasters fiddle tunes were no stranger to me. I soon fell in love with the instrument and so began my fiddle journey at the age of 8. Throughout my years I have had amazing mentors and opportunities to play at churches, weddings, and concerts. I have been teaching private music lessons since 2018 and in 2021, I was given the opportunity to start traveling to Nunavut to teach fiddle to the students in the school systems up North. Watching these kids grow in skill and love of music brings me so much joy and I am so excited to share this opportunity with your children this fall through group and private fiddle lessons!
