Join Alison Dawn Voice & Music for a hands-on, half-day camp centered around exploring the piano and music! Campers will be introduced to the piano through group games and activities, and each child will be given some solo practice time on our piano and keyboards in studio.

This camp is designed to help children learn about how to play piano, based on their past experience, but also develop their musical skills that are transferable to all instruments. We will learn about keeping a steady beat, reading, playing and writing basic rhythms, learning a few note names and also discuss dynamics, musicality and performance practices too. But if this sounds like a lot for the summertime- don't worry! Everything we do happens through games and hands-on group activities so students will barely realize how much they're learning!

The camp is suitable for young pianists with 0-2 years of playing experience. We will be able to cater piano playing time to the child's ability, interest and comfort level.
