The Triple Threat Training Program is a weekly program for teens aged 13-18 who are interested in the performing arts and ensemble work, and who want to hone their skills as a triple threat. We spend weekly rehearsals singing, acting and dancing, learning the skills to be a confident, dynamic and engaging performer!

In this program you will :
⭐ Develop your artistry, technical skills and passion for performing
⭐ Learn about singing & performing
⭐ Learn how to harmonize to your favourite pop and musical theatre songs
⭐ Work on acting as a singer, and how it can influence your next performance
⭐ Work as an ensemble to create dynamic performance numbers with music, performance and some easy dancing and movement
⭐ Gain additional performance experience
⭐ Join your teammates for regular outings to see live music and theatre, which fosters an appreciation for new styles, and connects you to your community
⭐ Bond and make friends with other teens who share your passions and interests
⭐ Grow more confident in everything you do as a performer!

ROTHESAY

Our Triple Threat team in Rothesay perform as a shoir choir. (Think, Glee!) We learn pop and musical theatre favourites complete with 3- part harmony, then stage them with choreography to show off the performers' best selves! Students will build confidence singing as a soloist and in a group, learning ensemble numbers with simple choreography, and taking in-depth acting workshops to hone their craft, making them well-rounded triple threats. The year culminates with a fully produced cabaret performance at the end of June for friends and family, featuring group numbers, solos, duets & trios! Additional performance opportunities are also available to the team throughout the school year.

RIVERVIEW

New for the 2026-2027 school year! Students will spend Monday evenings developing their singing, acting and dance skills while working together to bring a fully produced musical to the stage! Students dive into all aspects of musical theatre, with training in singing, acting, dance and stage performance. Classes include vocal technique and ensemble singing, character development and scene work, choreography, movement, stage presence, audition and performance skills, and plenty of opportunities to step outside their comfort zones and grow as performers. Students will experience the complete rehearsal and production process, from learning music and choreography to developing characters, blocking scenes, working as an ensemble and ultimately performing for a live audience.

Whether you’re an experienced performer or simply love musical theatre and want to grow, Triple Threat offers a supportive, high-energy environment to build confidence, challenge yourself, make new friends and experience the excitement of being part of a cast.

This is an intensive program designed to take young, budding performers and help them build their skills and confidence so they are better equipped to ace every audition and performance they have outside this program. It is our mission that they are exposed to the best teachers, training, education, experiences, and live theatre that our area has to offer, making them well-rounded, knowledgeable and capable artists.

Extra outings to arts events in our community will also be organized for the group, so they are exposed to live theatre and performing arts, expanding their knowledge as a performer, and developing growing relationships within the team and community.

Performance opportunities will be provided, and additional rehearsals will be scheduled accordingly, particularly in the spring leading up to the cabaret.

This group is by audition or invitation only, but everyone is welcome to apply. Apply any time by sending a video of you singing a song you love and feel presents your voice well, or e-mail admin@alisondawnvoice.com to book an in-person audition. Those successful candidates who submit a video will also be asked to come in for a meet and greet at a later date prior to a decision being made.
