The Triple Threat Training Program is a weekly program for teens aged 13-18 who are interested in the performing arts and ensemble work, and who want to hone their skills as a triple threat.

Join us as we take teens who love to sing and turn them into dynamic, engaging and educated performers!

In this program you will :
⭐ Develop your artistry, technical skills and passion for performing
⭐ Learn about singing & performing as a soloist and in a group
⭐ Learn how to harmonize to your favourite pop and musical theatre songs
⭐ Work on acting as a singer, and how it can influence your next performance
⭐ Prepare to nail your next audition
⭐ Work as an ensemble to create dynamic performance numbers with music, performance and some easy dancing and movement
⭐ Gain additional performance experience
⭐ Learn about caring for your voice and self as a performing artist
⭐ Join your teammates for regular outings to see live music and theatre, which fosters an appreciation for new styles, and connects you to your community
⭐ Bond and make friends with other teens who share your passions and interests
⭐ Grow more confident in everything you do as a performer!
This program is a combination of weekly workshops, rehearsals and performances, to help give our students the most well-rounded education.

This is an intensive program designed to take young, budding performers and help them build their skills and confidence so they are better equipped to ace every audition and performance they have outside this program. It is our mission that they are exposed to the best teachers, training, education, experiences, and live theatre that our area has to offer, making them well-rounded, knowledgeable and capable artists.

Students will build confidence singing as a soloist and in a group, learning ensemble numbers with simple choreography, and taking in-depth acting workshops to hone their craft, making them well-rounded triple threats.

Guest teachers will also be invited to some sessions so our troupe will be working with the best teachers in the performing arts of the greater Saint John area, with Alison overseeing the program.

Extra outings to arts events in our community will also be organized for the group, so they are exposed to live theatre and performing arts, expanding their knowledge as a performer, and developing growing relationships within the team and community.

Rehearsals take place Wednesdays 7:30-8:30pm. Performance opportunities will be provided, and additional rehearsals will be scheduled accordingly.

This group is by audition only, but everyone is welcome to apply. Apply any time by sending a video of you singing a song you love and feel presents your voice well, or e-mail alison@alisondawnvoice.com to book an in-person audition. Those successful candidates who submit a video will also be asked to come in for a meet and greet at a later date prior to a decision being made.
