James Smith is delighted to be working with the talented young performers in this year’s Showcase Musical Theatre program and Little Stars Musical Theatre class. Originally from Hamilton, Ontario, James has been passionate about Musical Theatre from a very young age.

 

He studied Musical Theatre Performance at St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario, receiving comprehensive training in acting, voice, and dance. Throughout his career, James has performed in numerous musical theatre productions across the Greater Toronto Area, further honing his skills and experience.

 

In 2022, James relocated to the Maritimes and has since become an active member of the local theatre community. He has appeared with the Saint John Theatre Company, KV Players, and is currently performing as Kevin J./Others in Rogue Productions’ Come From Away. Additionally, James recently choreographed SJTC’s production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

 

James is enthusiastic about sharing his passion for the performing arts with the next generation and is committed to helping each student develop their talents and achieve their fullest potential
