Alexandra McGill teaches early childhood music classes, group piano classes for children and adults, and private piano and voice lessons. She has been teaching since September 2021 and enjoys working with students of all ages and experience levels.

Alexandra holds a Bachelor of Music Therapy from Acadia University and is a Board-Certified Music Therapist (MTA), as well as a Neurologic Music Therapy® Music Therapist (NMT™). She is also the owner of Fundy Music Therapy, where she provides music therapy services within the community. Her background allows her to bring a thoughtful, structured, and student-centred approach to music education, with an emphasis on building confidence, musical understanding, and enjoyment.

Growing up, Alexandra participated in many choirs, performed in musicals, and studied both piano and voice. She also took part in the New Brunswick Competitive Festival of Music for several years, gaining valuable performance experience. In her teaching, she aims to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore music, develop skills at their own pace, and take pride in their progress.
