Music and the piano have been present in every stage of my journey since I was a little girl. My earliest connection to music has become a lifelong passion. Through every transition the piano has been my anchor and my greatest joy. This deep connection to music is what inspires me every day, and I always try to share that with my students and serve as an inspiration to them.

I am an accomplished pianist, esteemed pedagogue, and published author,
recognized for significant contributions to music education and research throughout Cuba and Colombia. My career includes nearly 16 years at the University of the North, where I was a triple recipient of the Award for Teaching Excellence. With over 17 years of professional experience, I have provided music and piano instruction to diverse age groups—children, youth, and adults—through both personalized one-on-one sessions and engaging group classes with diverse musical interests.

My pedagogical interests center on integrating the Universal Classical Music canon with the rich languages of traditional and popular music. I am dedicated to promoting a diverse repertoire that explores both solo piano works and ensemble practice. My purpose is to provide my students and wider audiences with a deeply enriching, multicultural musical education.
